Catherine was baptized on the 17 September 1887 at St. Joseph's church, Miltown Malbay. Her sponsor was Delia Hayes. Catherine was listed as Kate in the 1901 census of Ireland. She was listed as a 12 year old female, general servant-domestic, living with her parents in Miltown Malbay. The next time I located Catherine it was through her death certificate. Catherine died at Emergency Hospital, Buffalo, NY on 28 January 1906. The cause of death was shock and the duration was 5 hours. The contributory factor was burns from gas explosion. The informant was a cousin Thomas Gorman of 566 Grant Street, Buffalo. She was buried from St. Bridgid's Church in Buffalo and interned at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, NY on the 29 January 1906 in a single grave a gravestone. The undertaker was Timothy Driscoll of 340 Seneca Street.
