Ellen Moroney

Ellen² Moroney (Thomas¹) was born in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare 20 December 1889.  Ellen died 20 August 1949 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY, at 59 years of age.  Her body was interred 24 August 1949 in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, Erie County, NY., Section RR, Lot 339, Grave 1. 

      She married Michael O'Neill in St. Monica's RCC, Erie County, Buffalo, NY, 6 June 1917.  Michael was born in Shanaway, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, Ireland 15 August 1890.  Michael was the son of Martin O'Neill and Honor Eustace.  Michael died 26 June 1946 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY, at 55 years of age.  His body was interred 30 June 1946 in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, Erie County, NY., Section RR, Lot 339, Grave 1.

      She was christened in St. Joseph's RCC, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, Ireland, 20 December 1889.  Ellen immigrated, 23 April 1909. 

     Ellen Moroney and Michael O'Neill had the following children:

          i.      James Martin³ O'Neill was born 2 April 1918.

         ii.      Mary Catherine O'Neill was born 19 June 1919.

        iii.      Nora Margaret O'Neill was born 8 August 1920.

        iv.      Michael J. O'Neill was born 10 February 1923.

         v.      Catherine O'Neill was born 28 June 1924.

        vi.      Ellen O'Neill was born 23 January 1925.

        vii.     Thomas O'Neill was born in Buffalo, NY 3 November 1927.  Thomas died 12 August 1980 in Erie County, Buffalo, NY, at 52 years of age.  His body was interred 16 August 1980.  Mass of Christian Burial, St. Ambrose RCC. Buffalo, NY
