Michael Moroney
Michael2 Moroney (Thomas1) was born in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare 6 Jan 1886. Michael died July 1932 in Elmsford, Westchester County, New York, at 46 years of age. He was killed in a car accident. His body was interred July 1932 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Elmsford, Westchester County, New York.
He married Georgina Robinson in New York, New York, 1913.

He was christened in St. Joseph's RCC, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, Ireland, 6 Jan 1886. Michael immigrated, 18 August 1906. Destination: destination unknown. Michael left Queenstown (Cobh), County Cork, Ireland on the 10 August 1906 and arrived in Ellis Island on 18 August 1906 with his sister Anne Moroney on the Ship Cedric.
He resided in Elmsford, Westchester County, New York 1920, Saw-Mill-River Road. Uncle Mick Moroney had a friend named Merrinan from Miltown Malbay that came to America with him and then went back to Ireland. Mick sometimes worked as a boxer (fighter) for money.
